Funeral Services for Mildred E. Noah will be conducted from the Wilsonville United Baptist Christian Church in Wilsonville, Nebraska on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Keith Theobald, officiating. Interment will be in the Wilsonville Cemetery at Wilsonville, Nebraska.

Mildred E. Noah, 77 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2006 at the Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege. Mildred was born January 8, 1929 at Daviess County, Missouri the second of three children of Clarance and Effie (Dillamon) Ward. She received her primary education in Kansas, graduating Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kansas with the class of 1949.

On July 9, 1949 she was united in marriage to Paul Noah and to this union two sons were born: James Alan and Rodney Jay. The family made their home south of Wilsonville on the family farm where the couple enjoyed working side-by-side farming and trucking. Mildred and Paul spent 35 years on the farm before moving into Wilsonville in 1976. The couple had made many special trips, which included journeys to California and Kansas City.

Mildred was a member of the Wilsonville Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting and spending special times with family and friends.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Paul of Holdrege; two sons: Jim Noah and his wife, Betty of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Rod Noah and his wife, Jane of Elm Creek, Nebraska; sister, Barbara Lamprecht and her husband, Hans of Tonganoxie, Kansas; three grandchildren: Cindy Pummill and her husband, Dan of Independence, Missouri, Bruce Noah and his wife, Joyce of Raymore, Missouri and Jennifer Noah of Minden, Nebraska; five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Fern Kropt and brother-in-law, Wes Wickum.

Mrs. Noah will lie in state at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with the family greeting from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
