Nancy (Abramson) Decker

Private Memorial Services for Nancy (Abramson) Decker will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska with Mr. Willard Behlen officiating.  Inurnment will follow at the Moses Hill Cemetery, rural Holdrege.

The memorial service for Nancy will be live streamed via the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home Facebook page.

Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for Faith-Based Services and Gatherings will be followed.  Nancy's family sincerely encourages each person to make their decision whether to attend the services, based on the best interest of your health, and that of your community.

Nancy Lucille (Abramson) Decker, 77 years of age, passed very peacefully on November 26, 2020 at Holdrege Memorial Homes.  She was born on November 29, 1942, to Harvey and Crystal (Claussen) Behlen in Columbus, Nebraska.

Nancy's hobbies were reading, walking, and collecting.  She also enjoyed eating out with friends, listening to music, singing, planting flowers, and watching old movies.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands:  Dale Abramson; and Chancy Decker.

She is survived by: one daughter, Jackie (Scott) Drown of Omaha, Nebraska; one step-daughter, Sharon (Russ) Almquist of Forsyth, Missouri; two step-sons:  Dan (Selena) Abramson of Kearney, Nebraska; and David (Michelle) Abramson of Grand Island, Nebraska; one brother Willard (Carol) Behlen of Omaha; along with grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege.  Face coverings will be required to enter.  Following visitation, cremation will take place.

A memorial has been established in Nancy's honor and kindly suggested to the Phelps County Senior Center in Holdrege.
