Neta Marie Knoell, 77 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska, died on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at The Cedars at Broadwell in Grand Island, Nebraska, surrounded by her daughter, and grandsons:  Jenny, Cain, Cole, Chase, and Chance.  Neta was born on December 28, 1946, in Lynch, Nebraska, to William and Velma (Phelps) Conard.  She attended school in O'Neill, Nebraska and graduated from O'Neill High School.

On April 27, 1963, Neta was united in marriage to Ronald Knoell at the Christian Church in O'Neill.  The couple made their home in California and then settled in Nebraska. They were blessed with five children:  Billye Jo, Ronald, Jr., Mike, Jenny, and Daniel.

Together the family enjoyed playing card games, Rummy was always a go to game!  Neta got a kick out of the game, Cards Against Humanity.
