She attended the Tracyville Country School through the eighth grade and was confirmed as a member of the Hope Lutheran Church.

She and her friends enjoyed many travels here and abroad. Olga was an avid photographer during these trips and loved to share her pictures with family. In addition, she enjoyed traveling with a lot of Elderhostel's throughout the United States.
Olga was immaculate with her needlework, often taking lessons and loved to share her crocheting and needlework with family and friends.
