Patricia Rae (VonLoh) Donnoe, 71 years of age, of rural Bertrand, entered eternal rest on the morning of Monday, June 29, 2015 at Bryan Health Medical Center - East in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Patricia was born October 7, 1944 at the Brewster Hospital in Holdrege, Nebraska to Melvin and Doris (Kerr) VonLoh. She attended country school and graduated from Bertrand High School in May of 1962.

On November 13, 1965 Patricia was joined in marriage to Ivan Lewis Donnoe at the St. Mary's Church in Lincoln. After a brief honeymoon, Ivan was deployed overseas and Patricia moved back to Bertrand, where upon Ivan's return to the states, they started their family.

Patricia worked as a feeder for Carl D. Hanson's feed yard, a fuel desk attendant at the Burns Brothers Truck Stop in Overton, cashier and pizza maker at Convenience Plus in Bertrand as well as at the Countryside Market of Bertrand.

Patricia enjoyed interacting with everyone in her community, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Above all else, Patricia enjoyed the company of her husband, Ivan of 49 years. Upon partial retirement, the two set out to build on and renovate their ranch home south of Bertrand, and purchase "his and her" classic cars, a 1955 Ford Crown Victoria and a 1947 Ford Coupe. The two could often be found cruising to a car show in one of their vintage rides or sitting in their driveway just enjoying the life they made together. Ivan and Patricia's union into marriage began in Lincoln, and ended in Lincoln early Monday morning as Patricia passed on holding the hand of her beloved husband.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents: Melvin and Doris VonLoh. She is survived by her husband, Ivan Donnoe of rural Bertrand; her four children: Deborah Langenberg and her husband, Tim of Bertrand; Stacy Donnoe and his wife, Gina of Grand Island, Nebraska; Diana Erickson and her husband, Shawn of Bertrand; and Denise Kraus and her husband, Shawn of Lincoln; nine grandchildren: Derek Langenberg (Skylar) of Minden; Miranda McQuiston (Andi) of Oxford; Alyssa Nielsen (Tyler) of Holdrege; Dean Erickson of Wayne; Dustin Langenberg of Bertrand; Rachel Erickson of Bertrand; Brandon Kraus of Lincoln; Taylor Langenberg of Bertrand; and Dylan Kraus of Lincoln; five step-grandchildren: Andrew Kraus of Lincoln, Rebecca Proud of Ft. Hood, Texas, Rosette Sladek (Dan) of St. Paul, Nebraska, Ryann Proud of Grand Island, and Robert Proud of Bartley, Nebraska; two great-grandchildren: Lauren and Eli Sladek; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Patricia is not only survived by those of blood relation, but also those whose lives she managed to touch and affect in a positive way during her time with us.
