Celebration of Life for Patricia L. "Tricia" Hoffman will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Elm Creek Fire Hall and Community Center in Elm Creek, Nebraska.

Patricia Lea "Tricia" Hoffman, 72 years of age, of Elm Creek, Nebraska, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Christian Homes Care Community, Holdrege, Nebraska.  Tricia was born on December 17, 1953, in Boone, Iowa, the eldest of three children born to Harold R. and Donna V. (Linn) Bjornson.  She received her education in Culver City, California, graduating with the class of 1971.

Tricia was united in marriage to Richard Hoffman Bullhead City, Arizona.  The couple made their home in Elm Creek and were blessed with three children:  Ricardo, Casey, and Erik.  Tricia worked at Foster's Family Foods in Elm Creek for many years.

Tricia loved to collect anything pig related!  She enjoyed spending time with her family, a cold Pepsi, and going to the Casino.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Richard Hoffman in 2022; her brother, Michael Bjornson; her grandparents: Valentine and Crispin Aguirre; and a granddaughter, Gabrielle Hoffman 2007.

Tricia leaves to celebrate her life; her sons: Ricardo "Shorty" Hoffman and wife, Suzanne of Elm Creek; Casey Hoffman of Kearney; and Erik Hoffman of Elm Creek; four grandchildren: Elani Hoffman and wife, Cheyenne of Elm Creek; Trenton Hoffman of Hays, Kansas; Anna Hoffman of Lincoln, Nebraska; and Ayston Hoffman of Kearney; two great-grandchildren:  Brielle and Tucker; her sister, Judy Bjornson and family of Tarpon Springs, Florida; special cousin, Frank Furst and family of California; many Hoffman in-laws in the area; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved family in Nebraska, Iowa, and Minnesota.

Cremation was chosen.  There will not be a visitation, or viewing.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the family for future designation.
