Patricia Moore

A memorial service for Patricia A. Moore will be held at a later date in Rapid City, South Dakota with an inurnment at Black Hills National Cemetery in rural Meade County, South Dakota.

Patricia Ann Moore, 80 years of age, of Rapid City, passed away on February 10, 2025, at Christian Homes Care Community in Holdrege. Pat was born in Texas on January 5, 1945. She was adopted and raised by Opal Shaw. Pat received her associate's degree at Casper College.

On August 17, 1968, Pat was united in marriage to Gerald B. Moore in Casper, Wyoming. This union was blessed with three sons and a daughter: Alicia, Nathan, Mitch, and Darren. Pat and Jerry lived in Chicago for quite a while, where Pat focused her time on raising her children. Pat and Jerry retired to Rapid City in 2008.

Pat enjoyed crafts, sewing, and reading books. She was involved in the Methodist Church.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Alicia Moore; and one son, Darren Moore.

Pat is survived by two sons; Nathan Moore of Kearney, Nebraska; Mitch Moore of Rapid City; and five grandchildren: Savannah, Zoe, Nevaeh, Caden and Alicia.

There will be no viewing or visitation. The family is honoring Pat's wish for cremation.

Memorials in Pat's honor are suggested to the family for a later designation.
