Funeral Services for Paul D. Noah will be conducted from the Wilsonville United Baptist Christian Church in Wilsonville, Nebraska on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. Keith Theobald, officiating. Interment will be in the Wilsonville Cemetery at Wilsonville.

Paul Dean Noah, 80 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Christian Homes of Holdrege. He was born June 9, 1926 in Furnas County, Nebraska, south of Wilsonville on the family farm, the 2 of 3 children born to Andrew and Bessie (Scrivner) Noah. He attended school at the Sherman Country School near Wilsonville. After his education he worked on the family farm with his father.

On July 9, 1949 he was united in marriage to Mildred Ward, and to this union 2 sons were born: James Alan and Rodney Jay. The family made their home south of Wilsonville on the family farm where the couple enjoyed working side-by-side faming and trucking. Paul and Mildred spent 35 years on the farm before moving into Wilsonville in 1976. The couple made many special trips, which included journeys to California and Kansas City. Due to their health, in 2001 Paul and Mildred moved to Holdrege.

Paul was a member of the Wilsonville Baptist Church and the Holdrege Baptist Church. He was also a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Paul leaves to mourn his passing his sons: Jim Noah and his wife, Betty of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Rod Noah and his wife, Jane of Elm Creek, Nebraska; three grandchildren: Cindy Pummill and her husband, Dan, of Independence, Missouri; Bruce Noah and his wife, Joyce of Raymore, Missouri and Jennifer Noah of Minden, Nebraska; five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister; Gloria Neu; brother: Bernie Scrivner and his wife Mildred on October 2, 2006.

Mr. Noah will lie in state at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the family greeting from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
