Funeral Services for Philip H. "Skip" Austin will be conducted from Freeman Funeral Home Chapel in Manalapan, New Jersey on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Monmouth Memorial Park in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

Philip Henry "Skip" Austin, 40 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska (formerly of Cliffwood, New Jersey) passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska. Skip was born November 15, 1966 in Red Bank, New Jersey, the youngest of four children born to Philip B. and Louise (Stefan) Austin. He grew up at Hazlet, New Jersey, where he received his education. Skip then pursued higher education at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, where he received his Engineering Degree.

Following his education, Skip worked in Quality Control Management for various companies, most recently employed at Chief Automotive in Grand Island, Nebraska.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Stephanie Austin of Holdrege, Nebraska; father, Philip B. Austin of New Jersey; his son, Daniel Joseph Austin of Cranbury, New Jersey; two sisters: Phyllis Klein and her husband, Steven of Howell, New Jersey, Lisa Frace and her husband, Robert of Phoenix, Arizona; one aunt, Frances Abatie and her husband, Walter of Crowne Point, Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Austin and sister, Stefanie.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Freeman Funeral Home in Manalapan, New Jersey.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
