Randy R Loose

Funeral Services for Randy R. Loose will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Oxford, Nebraska with Pastor Brian Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at the Oxford Cemetery.

Randy Ray Loose, 57 years of age, of Oxford, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019, following a battle with cancer, at the Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege, Nebraska. He was born February 3, 1961, in Oxford, the fourth of seven children born to LeRoy and Velma (Coakley) Loose.  He received his education from Oxford Public Schools.

Following his education, Randy worked as a Service Technician for:  Brooks Ford Inc., and Murdock Enterprises both of Oxford and at Holdrege Irrigation in Holdrege.

To say Randy enjoyed fishing, is an understatement!  He was an avid fisherman and loved his time on the lake.  Randy enjoyed ice fishing one last time prior to his passing.

He was preceded in death by; his father; and his grandparents.

He leaves to mourn his passing; his mother, Velma Loose of Wilsonville, Nebraska; his siblings; Nova Loose; Dana Baxter; Dean Loose; Thomas Loose; Mary Fries; and Steven Loose; former father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Janet Laizure of Stamford, Nebraska; many other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Mitchell-Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Oxford.

A memorial has been established in Randy's honor and will be used to help with expenses.
