Robert "Bob" Thoesen

Robert Dale "Bob" Thoesen, 69 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska passed away, on August 9, 2022, at his home in Holdrege. Bob was born in Minden, Nebraska on May 22, 1953, the youngest of three children, born to Donald and Katheryn (Hansen) Thoesen. He received his primary education from Holstein Public School and later attended and graduated from Minden High School, with the class of 1971. He pursued higher education and received an associate's Degree in Automotive from Southeast Community College - Milford.

Following his education, Bob worked at Auto Villa for 18 years and then Allmand for 11 years, where he retired in 2001.

Bob enjoyed target shooting and cars. He also bred Shar Pei dogs and people from all over the world came to Bob to purchase a puppy.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Bob is survived by his sister, Judy Jacobs and her husband, Jim of Hastings, Nebraska; brother, Donald Thoesen and his wife, Marj of Louisville, Nebraska; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

There will be no visitation or memorial book signing, the family is honoring Bob's wish for cremation.

A memorial has been established in Bob's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
