A Graveside Service for Robin Artz will be held at the Bainbridge Cemetery, north of Huntley, Nebraska, on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Marcia Dorn officiating.
Robinette Lynn "Robin" Artz, 62 years of age, of Hildreth, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Arbor Care Center in Franklin, Nebraska. Robin was born on June 17, 1962, in San Bernadino, California, the eldest of two daughters born to Thomas F. and Marcia M. (Aspegren) Dickenson. She attended grade school in Wilcox, Nebraska and then attended and graduated from Mount Vernon, Missouri, with the class of 1980. She achieved National Registry Emergency Medical Tech in 2002.
On March 1, 1986, Robin was united in marriage to Paul James Artz at the Huntley United Methodist Church. The family made their home in the area, settling in Hildreth. The couple was blessed with a son, Payden. Robin worked at Continental Grain in Motala, Nebraska; Midland Coop (CPI) in Wilcox; the Iowa Nebraska State Bank in Wilcox; then she traveled with her husband, Paul as he worked on the pipeline.
Robin enjoyed traveling and meeting people across the country. Her greatest joys in life were her son, Payden; and grandsons, Kason and Kohen.
Robin was preceded in death by her grandparents: Robert and Violet Aspegren; mother, Marcia (Aspegren) Jones, and step-father, Albert Jones; father, Thomas Dickenson; nephew, Joshua Jones; her husband, Paul Artz; and father-in-law, Lewis Artz.
Robin is survived by her son, Payden Artz and friend, Jill Miller; and two grandsons: Kason and Kohen Artz, all of Republican City, Nebraska; sister, Angela Hart and husband, Mikel of Mount Vernon, Missouri; aunt, Monica Anderson of Holdrege; step-sister, Tracey Wolfe and husband, Ronnie of Hurley, Missouri; two step-brothers: Bobby Jones and wife, Kerry of Duncan, Oklahoma; and John Jones and wife, Demetria of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; mother-in-law, Barbara Artz of Minden, Nebraska; brothers-in-law: Brent Artz and his wife, Holly of Wilcox; and Monte Artz and his wife, Hanah of Georgetown, South Carolina; sister-in-law: Teresa Blank and her husband, Dale of Hildreth; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and especially her many friends.
There will not be a visitation prior to the graveside service. Memorials in Robin's honor are kindly suggested to the family for future designation.
