Ronda Jane Noren, 84 years of age, of Lincoln, Nebraska, formerly of Alma, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Pemberly Place in Lincoln, where she lived the last 3 years in Memory Care. Ronda was born on the family farm south of Orleans, Nebraska, on October 3, 1941, the third of four children, born to George Eugene and Frances Leona (Russell) Johnson. She attended Stamford Elementary and High School in Stamford, Nebraska, and graduated in 1959 with only 5 in her class of all girls.

On April 17, 1960, Ronda was united in marriage to Donald Dean Noren at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stamford. The couple made their home in Alma, where Ronda worked at the Harlan County Hospital as a Nurse’s Aide for over 50 years.

Over the years, Ronda enjoyed Bowling (attending many State Bowling Tournaments), playing pitch in the Couples Card Club of friends, and, of course, meeting friends for coffee (sometimes more than once a day). Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she rarely missed a sporting event. Ronda and Don enjoyed wintering in Mesa, Arizona, for over 12 years, making many friends. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.

Ronda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don; sister, Ilene Tegtman and her husband, Raymond; two brothers-in-law: Keith Noren; and Norman Noren; and a niece, Brenda Waggoner.

Ronda is survived by two daughters: Kim Wieseler and her husband, Jon of North Platte, Nebraska; and Pam Sell and her husband, Randy of Roca, Nebraska; seven grandchildren: Nathan Wieseler and his wife, Jessica; Danielle Aman and her husband, Colton; Brianna Moline and her husband, Jordan; Nikki Davison and her husband, Seth; Kaitlin Kreifels and her husband Mitch; Kendra Smith and her husband, Mark; and Kelsey Jara and her husband, Tom; fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Stanley Johnson and his wife, Sonya of Stamford; one sister, Sandra DeSelms of Texas; two sisters-in-law: Barbara Tegtman and her husband, Mardy of Utah; and Darlene Noren of Alma; along with other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Alma.
