Celebration of Life Services for Rosann K. Miller will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Westmark Evangelical Free Church north of Loomis, Nebraska with Pastors Mike Hellum and John Shields officiating. Interment will be in the Highland Cemetery at Bertrand, Nebraska following the services.

Rosann Kay Miller, 66 years of age, of rural Bertrand, entered into eternity with Jesus on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at her home north of Bertrand surrounded by loved ones.

Rosann was born December 30, 1948 at Lexington, Nebraska, the eldest of two children born to George and Grace (Anderson) Roper of Bertrand. Rosann received her elementary and high school education from Bertrand Public School, and graduated from Bertrand High School with the class of 1967. She then pursued higher education at Kearney State College, where she earned a degree in nursing. Rosann was a life-long learner and was always increasing her knowledge in many areas, which included learning God's word.

On July 13, 1969, Rosann was united in marriage to Myron Miller and to this union three children were born: Daniel, Stacey and Alanna. The family made their home north of Bertrand. Rosann was a nurse for 29 years at Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege and also worked at other nursing facilities. She was a master quilter, and also enjoyed gardening and cooking. Rosann loved her family fully and enjoyed spending time together, especially the holidays.

Besides her parents, Rosann was preceded in death by a son, Daniel in 1993. She leaves to celebrate her life; her husband, Myron Miller of rural Bertrand; two daughters: Stacey Bracker and her husband, Troy of Fremont, Nebraska and Alanna Armstrong and her husband, Sean of Hastings, Nebraska; seven grandchildren: Cale, Tristan and Shelby Bracker and Jackson, Avery, Shannon and Jefferson Armstrong; one brother, Dennis Roper of Kearney, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Marilyn Peterson and her husband, Duane of Stromsburg, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Merle Miller and his wife, Cindy of Topeka, Kansas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with the family greeting from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege.

A memorial has been established in Rosann's honor and kindly suggested to the Parkview Baptist Church in Lexington, Nebraska and will be designated for local mission work to help families of need.
