Rose M. Anderson

Rose M. Anderson, 75 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Christian Homes Care Community in Holdrege.  Private family services for Rose will be held at a later date.

Rose Marie Anderson was born January 20, 1944 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lavern and Marie (Sigl) Beiriger.  She received her education at Ragan, Nebraska, graduating from Ragan High School with the class of 1962.

Rose was employed by Mosaic, working in home health care for more than twenty years.  She was married to Don Anderson from 1966 until 1996, and to this union two children were born:  Brenda and Mark.

Rose's hobbies included:  collecting cookie jars, painting ceramics, crafts, tending to her flowers in her yard, her birds, her fish aquamarine, and her dog, Max.  She also enjoyed talking frequently with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Anderson of San Diego, California; her son, Mark Anderson of Holdrege; brother, Bill Beiriger of Holdrege; sisters:  Pat Carter of San Marcos, California; and Mary Hammond of Holdrege; along with a host of other relatives and many friends.

Besides her parents; Rose was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Don.

Memorials are kindly suggested to the All Saints Catholic Church in Holdrege.  The family is honoring her wish for cremation.
