Rose Mary Josephine "Rosie" Larson Hartmann, 95, of Holdrege, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025, at the Bertrand Nursing Home in Bertrand, Nebraska. Rose Mary was born on November 11, 1929, in Holdrege, the youngest of two children of Roy I. and Myrtle J. (Lyon) Isaacson.  The family made their home on a farm north of Loomis, where she was baptized and confirmed at the Westmark Evangelical Free Church.  She received her primary education from Hillside District #49 and then attended and graduated from Loomis Public Schools with the class of 1947.

On January 7, 1951, Rose Mary was united in marriage to Ralph M. Larson and the couple were blessed with two children: Roxanne and Michael. She worked as a Bookkeeper for the Loomis Auto Company.  They were members of the First United Methodist Church, where she was active with the UMW and taught Sunday school.

During this time, Rosie was active with the community concerts for 13 years.  The family moved to Holdrege in 1958, and Rosie was a leader for Cub Scouts, the Blue Birds, and 4-H.     In 1966, Ralph preceded her in death.  She then began working at Phelps Memorial Health Center for a total of 27 years.  For 19 years, she worked in the Admissions Office, retiring in 1994.

On April 17, 1970, Rosie was united in marriage to Howard E. Hartmann in North Platte, Nebraska.  The couple blended families with Howard's two sons.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, past president of the BPO Does, and member of the MNO Extension club.  Rosie enjoyed spending time at the Holdrege Senior Center and also volunteered at the Blood Mobile.  Rosie enjoyed traveling, tending to her flowers, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands: Ralph in 1966; and Howard in 2004; a son, Robert Hartmann; her sister, Lorraine Leach and her husband, Walter "Bus"; and many Larson and Hartmann family members.

Rose Mary is survived by her children: Roxanne Winheim and her husband, Kirk of Bertrand; Mike Larson and his wife, Susan of Holdrege; and Dave Hartmann and wife, Vicki of Bandera, Texas; nine grandchildren:  Sarah (Steven Hartsook) Larson; Krista Larson; Shawn (Elizabeth Israel) Hartmann; Brandon (Wendi) Hartmann; Erica (Alex Toro) Hartmann; Molly Hartmann; Dustin (Tosha) Winheim; Ross (Maggie) Winheim; and Samantha (Brett) Buettner; nine great-grandchildren:  Brayden, Hera, Chloe, Merick, Blair, Ella, Tripp, Jones, and Remi; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
