A Private Family Memorial Service for Ruth E Meyer will be held at a later date.

Ruth Edith Meyer, 91 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Christian Homes Care Community in Holdrege.  Ruth was born October 31, 1929, at Lincoln, the younger of two children born to Herman Fredrick and Lydia Ann Meyer.

Ruth lived at the Christian Homes Care Community since 2002 and enjoyed participating in the many activities available to her with the assistance of staff and volunteers.  She especially enjoyed chapel services, prayer group and music entertainment.

Besides her parents; Ruth was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Meyer and his wife, Deloris.

She leaves to celebrate her life; 2 nephews: Gene Meyer of Sterling, Nebraska; and Jim Meyer of Roca, Nebraska; one niece, Darlene Meyer of Valentine, Nebraska; and other relatives, and friends.

There will be no visitation, or memorial book signing.  The family is honoring Ruth's wish for cremation.

A memorial has been established in Ruth's honor, and kindly suggested to the Christian Homes Care Community in Holdrege.
