Ryan L Molzahn

Funeral Services for Ryan L. Molzahn will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Christian Fellowship Evangelical Free Church in Franklin, Nebraska with Pastors Bill Stearns and Jim Hossler officiating.  Interment will follow at the Naponee Cemetery at Naponee, Nebraska.

Ryan Louis Molzahn, 9 years of age, of rural Naponee, died Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Harlan County Health Systems in Alma, Nebraska.  Ryan was born September 25, 2008, in Holdrege, Nebraska, the third of four children, born to Kynn and Kimberly (Stone) Molzahn.  He was dedicated and invited the Lord into his heart in the spring of 2015.  Ryan attended Franklin Public Schools for kindergarten through second grade and was currently attending Alma Public Schools, as a third grader.

Ryan had a love for everything outside.  He had a fond love of animals, especially cows, and desired to become a skilled roper.  He loved spending time at the barn and working cows with Grandma and Grandpa.  Ryan adored his Dad and cherished the time trucking, farming, and just being with him.  Ryan loved the bike rides and beautiful sunsets with his Mom, giving her Eskimo kisses, and snuggling up reading books.  Ryan enjoyed playing baseball, flag football, wrestling, basketball, having Nerf gun wars with family, hunting, snow skiing, and camping.  Ryan loved mac & cheese and was very particular about how it was made.  He planned to open his own mac & cheese restaurant, called Ryan's Place.  He loved life!

Ryan's bond with Ayden, Alek and Reese was undeniable through his adoration for them.  Ryan enjoyed spending time with his siblings, including:  hunting with Ayden and Alek, practicing and trying out new wrestling moves with Ayden, building and playing MINECRAFT with Alek, and baking and eating cookie dough with Reese, at Grandma's house.  Each of them enjoyed playing Monopoly and UNO with each other.

Ryan's contagious laugh, beautiful smile, and ornery grin with shiny blue eyes will always be remembered and cherished.  His heart and compassion for others, was shown through, giving the best hugs, with extra back pats and his concern and love for those around him.  You could always count on Ryan for a joyous laugh that was spread to everyone around him.  The love for his family and friends was always shown through him, never missing the opportunity to say, "I love you."

He was preceded in death by:  his maternal grandfather, Tom Stone; and paternal grandmother, Jean Molzahn.

Ryan leaves to mourn his passing; his parents, Kynn and Kim Molzahn; three siblings, brothers: Ayden and Alek; and sister, Reese, all of rural Naponee; grandparents:  Peg and Dave Schnuerle of Franklin, and Phil and Lynda Molzahn of Kensington, Kansas; aunts, uncles, and cousins: Holly Sindt and her husband, Justin, and their children:  Morgan, Avery, and Kade of Elm Creek, Nebraska; Lisa Stone of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Brett Stone of Denver, Colorado; Kim Dennis and her husband, Jeff, and their children:  Koltin, and Jenna of Kensington; Kevin Molzahn and his wife, Dana, and their children: Andrew, Ashleigh Green, Ashley Klahn, Brooke Melton, and Garrett of Alma; Kaylin George and her husband, Pat, and their children: Justin Hadenfeldt, Kylie Hunt, Keshia Hadenfeldt, and Michael of Franklin; Kristi Manz and her husband, Kevin, and their children: Christopher VanKooten, Carmen, and Cash of Stuttgart, Kansas; and Kelly Bretton and her husband, Scott, and their children: Dylan, and Kassie, of Agra, Kansas; and Kris Eddy and his wife Dianna, and their children: Tristin, Tana, Stephanie, and River; along with extended family, other relatives and many friends.
