Sandra Kay Kruse

Memorial Graveside Services and Inurnment for Sandra K. (Jones) Kruse will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Mike Szekely officiating, at the Prairie Home Cemetery in Holdrege, Nebraska.

Sandra Kay (Jones) Kruse, 75 years of age, of Fullerton, Nebraska, formerly of Holdrege and Hastings, Nebraska, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Fullerton.  Sandra was born December 26, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska to Jesse and Berneice Ursula (Dunn) Jones.  She was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Holdrege.  She attended Holdrege Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1958.  Following her graduation, she worked for Holdrege Telephone Company.

In 1960, she was united in marriage to Donald Kruse in Holdrege.  To this union, two children were born:  Lisa and Robert.  The family made their home in Holdrege where Sandra worked for Becton Dickinson.  In 1976, Sandra began to make her home in Hastings.  In 2004, she moved to the Golden Living Center in Fullerton.

Sandra enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family.

Sandra is preceded in death by; her parents; brothers:  Clinton Jones, Stanley Jones and Virgil Jones; and a sister, Patricia Jones Jansma.

She leaves to celebrate her life; her children:  Lisa Beck and significant other, Dan Menzer of Holdrege and Bob Kruse and his wife, Jennifer of Lincoln, Nebraska; three grandchildren:  Eric Beck, Garrett Beck and Alisha Beck; two great-grandchildren:  Karma Beck and Serenity Beck; sister, Mary Reissener of Sun City West, Arizona; brother, Tom Jones of Phoenix, Arizona; 16 nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.

The family is honoring Sandra's wish for cremation.  There will be no visitation.

A memorial has been established in Sandra's honor and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
