Private Family Graveside Services for Sawyer A. Paulsen were held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Alma Cemetery, Alma Nebraska with Rev. Paul Ferrarone officiating.

Sawyer Aaron Paulsen, infant son of John Burton and Megan Jo (Olson) Paulsen was born at rest on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege, Nebraska.

John and Megan were blessed with the news that God had plans to add to their family. An answer to their prayers for a new baby was much anticipated, the entire family was beyond excited. With hopes and dreams for their new arrival they planned for the future, yet God had other plans for Sawyer.

Sawyer Aaron leaves to mourn his passing; his parents, John and Megan Paulsen, of Alma, Nebraska; three brothers: Ryker Paulsen, at home with his parents in Alma, Owen Jackson of York, Nebraska, and Colton Belmont of Fremont, Nebraska; Paternal Grandparents: Alan and Melodee Paulsen of Grand Island, Nebraska; Maternal Grandparents: Lavon and Karen Olson of Alma, Nebraska; Great-Grandparents: Burton and Alvana Paulsen of St. Paul, Nebraska and Charlene Kirkman of Grand Island, Nebraska; Aunts and Uncles: Kiley Palensky and her husband, Joseph of Grand Island, Nebraska, Andrew Paulsen and his wife, Mindy of Milford, Nebraska, Callyn Olson and Pierre Johnson of Fort Collins, Colorado; Cousins: Amari, Soleia, and Avery Palensky of Grand Island, Nebraska, Tracen and Brody Paulsen of Milford, Nebraska and Aubriella Johnson of Fort Collins, Colorado; and a host of other family.

Sawyer was preceded in death by his Great-Grandparents: John Guerrero, Cecil and Marie Olson and Leo and Ilene Lubeck and Uncle Aaron Olson.

A memorial has been established in Sawyer Aaron's honor and kindly suggested to the family.
