Scott W. Richardson

Scott Wayne Richardson, 46 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at his home in Holdrege. Scott was born May 6, 1961 at Phoenix, Arizona, the only child of Marjorie Kaye Richardson. Scott and his mother, resided in Phoenix to be near his grandparents. They returned to Holdrege in 1966 and Scott received his education from Holdrege, graduating from Holdrege High School. During his high school years, Scott was a member of the wrestling team.

Following his education, Scott was employed for a period of time at McDonald's in Holdrege. His life was centered around his family, providing care for his grandparents: Wayne "Jack" and Margaret (Johnson) Richardson in their later years. And, in the years to come would provide care for his mother, Marjorie K. Wright until her passing on July 19, 1996.

Scott enjoyed all kinds of memorabilia and was an avid NASCAR fan.

He leaves to mourn his passing a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. Besides his mother and grandparents, he was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.

There will be no visitation, the family is honoring Scott's wish for cremation.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
