A memorial graveside service and inurnment for Timothy D. Stump will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Highland Cemetery in Bertrand, Nebraska with Mr. Scott Ford officiating.

A meal will be served at 11:30 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bertrand.

Following the graveside service coffee and desserts will be served back at the Church in Bertrand.

Timothy Dale Stump, 72 years of age, of Milburn, Nebraska, passed away, on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. Tim was born in Lexington, Nebraska on July 17, 1951, to Charles and Virginia (Sargent) Stump. He received his education from Woodward Public Schools in Woodward, Oklahoma, and graduated with the class of 1969. He pursued higher education and received a bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Panhandle University.

Following his education, Tim worked at Farm Bureau AG Security.

On December 10, 1988, Tim was united in marriage to Mary "Dot" Millison. The couple made their home in Mutual, Oklahoma for 27 years before moving to Milburn. Tim had a passion for ranching. He would travel wherever he was needed to buy or sell cattle and truly cared for the livestock industry.

Tim enjoyed fishing trips with his son JoeBob and grandchildren Maddie and Hayden. He loved watching his grandchildren rodeo and ranching in the Sandhills of Nebraska.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Virginia Stump; and his step-mother, Della Stump.

He is survived by his wife, Dot Stump of Milburn; one son, JoeBob and his wife, Melinda and their children, Maddie and Hayden; one step-son, Eric Millison and his fiancée, Maggie and her children, Maddy Lee and Austin; along with a host of family and friends.

There will be no visitation or memorial book signing, the family is honoring Tim's wish for cremation.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Tim's honor, and kindly suggested to AseraCare Hospice, checks can be made out to Amedisys Foundation and sent to 6415 Second Ave., Suite 3, Kearney, NE 68847.
