Tracy L Stewart

Celebration of Life Service for Tracy L. Stewart will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska with Pastor Keith Theobald officiating.  A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Tracy Lynn "Shorty" Stewart, 24 years of age, of Atlanta, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 as a result of a single motor vehicle accident northwest of Holdrege, Nebraska.  Tracy was born April 28, 1992 at Holdrege, the youngest child born to Robert C. and Theresa M. (Lewis) Stewart.  Tracy began her education at R-7 School at Holdrege and then Loomis Public Schools.  She then completed her high school years at Ideal High School in Papillion, Nebraska, where she graduated with the class of 2010.

Following her education, Tracy lived in Washington State for a period of time before returning to Nebraska.  Throughout the years, she worked in food service and later returned home to Atlanta and assisted her father in the family business, Stewart Tree Service.

Tracy was talented in writing poems, she had a special place in her heart for animals, loved music and spending time with her friends.  Most importantly, the time she spent with her children she treasured.  Her bold, spontaneous personality will be remembered fondly.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents:  C.O. and Marie Stewart and Leland and Jean Lewis; and her father, Robert on January 6, 2016.

Tracy leaves to celebrate her life; her mother, Theresa Stewart and her fiancé, Mark Weiss of Bellevue, Nebraska; her three children:  Payton, Matthieu and Kibby; five siblings: Amy Walston and her husband, Trevor of Holdrege, Sherry Whitinger of Chadron, Nebraska, Thomas Stewart and his wife, Bridgette of Atlanta, Julie Skinner of Orleans, Nebraska and Jason Skinner and his wife, Lacey of Omaha, Nebraska; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial book signing will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with the family greeting from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege.

A memorial has been established in Tracy's honor and kindly suggested to the family for an education fund for her children.
