A Funeral Service for Travis N. Hale Sr. will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska. Following the services, cremation will take place.

Travis Nathan Hale Sr., 48 years of age, of Holdrege, passed away unexpectedly, on February 6, 2022, at his home in Holdrege. Travis was born in Wayne, Nebraska on December 17, 1973, the fourth of five children, born to Arthur Sr. and Wanda (Smith) Hale. He received his primary education from Holdrege Public School.
Following his education, Travis worked at Holdrege Well Service and later Buckeye Valley Trucking.
Travis was blessed with one son, Taylor Towery. On October 18, 1996, Travis was united in marriage to Gina Eaves at the United Methodist Church in Alma, Nebraska and to this union three children were born: Travis Jr., Taitan, and Kyser. The couple made their home in Republican City and later moved to Holdrege.
Travis enjoyed cooking, fishing, working on cars or tinkering with anything mechanical, but above all he loved spending time with his family and being a dad.
Travis was preceded in death by: his mother, Wanda Hale; maternal grandparents, Sherman and Lillian Smith; one uncle Don Hale; one nephew, Camdyn Trew.
Travis is survived by his wife, Gina Hale of Holdrege; his children: Taylor Towery of Kearney, Nebraska; Travis Hale Jr. and his wife, Desirae; Taitan Hale, and Kyser Hale all of Holdrege; two grandchildren; Taivon Farmer and Alizay Hale; one sister, Rebecca Beisel and her husband Robert of Minden, Nebraska; three brothers: Arthur Benjamin Hale Jr. of North Carolina; Brian Hale of Holdrege; and Scot Hale and his wife, Ashley of Holdrege; two sisters-in-law: Tera Schickerling and her husband, Rick of Wellman, Iowa; and Challa Trew of Holdrege; along with a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege.
A memorial has been established in Travis' honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
