Funeral Services for Trey A. Pascoe will be conducted from the First United Methodist Church in Holdrege, Nebraska on Friday, September 15, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dana Carson, officiating. Interment will be at the Ft. McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell, Nebraska following the service.

Trey Alan Pascoe, 31 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 11, 2006 at his residence. He was born January 16, 1975 in Minden, Nebraska, the youngest of three children of Marlene (Carbaugh) Pascoe and Norman Klein. He received his primary education at Grand Island, Nebraska, graduated from Grand Island High School with the class of 1993. He loved journalism and assisted with the yearbook in his Jr. and Sr. years. He also pursued higher education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Trey enlisted into the U.S. Navy on June 23, 1993 serving his country during the Gulf War until his honorable discharge on August 15, 1996.

He loved his son, his family and huge circle of friends. He loved to sing, playing Texas Hold'em and was an avid sports fan, especially the Nebraska Huskers. Trey was also active with the Jaycees.

He leaves to mourn his passing his son, Austyn Joel Perez of Holdrege; father, Norman Klein of Axtell, Nebraska; mother, Marlene Pascoe of Grand Island; two brothers: Chad Pascoe of Elm Creek, Nebraska and Casey Pascoe and his wife, Jessica of Holdrege and extended family, Doris, Melissa and Darrell and his wife, Amanda Fieldgrove all of Grand Island; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and an abundance of loving friends. He was preceded in death by his adoptive father, Ron Pascoe; grandparents: John and Marcia Carbaugh and Norman and Chris Klein and four uncles.

Mr. Pascoe will lie in state at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege on Thursday, September 14, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with the family greeting from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
