Troy D. Hill, 46 years of age, of Holdrege, (formerly of Colorado) passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2008 in Holdrege.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the LDS Church at 2200 11th Ave. in Longmont, Colorado. Inurnment will be at the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO on July 17th, at 12:30 p.m.
Troy was born on January 18, 1962 at Ogden, Utah, the eldest of two sons born to Dee Verl and Joy (Woolsey) Hill. He received his education in Modesto, California. Following his education, Troy was inducted into the United States Army on April 21, 1981 and served his country stationed in Louisiana and Germany until his honorable discharge on April 20, 1984.
Following his service, he was united in marriage to Christina Haberkon on July 13, 1985 and to this union two daughters were born: Kyrie Ann and Tessa Renea. The family made their home in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, where Troy was employed by Pro-Source in Denver, Colorado as a truck driver. Later in years, he was employed in food service. In November of 2007, he moved to Holdrege to be near his brother.
He leaves to mourn his passing his two daughters: Kyrie Hill and Tessa Hill both of Colorado; father, Dee V. Hill of Longmont, Colorado; mother, Joy Graves and her husband, Leon of Maynardville, TN; brother, Tracy Hill of Holdrege; and other relatives and friends. His grandparents preceded him in death.
