Ty B Bowman

Memorial Services for Ty B. Bowman will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Holdrege, Nebraska with Reverend Kenton Birtell officiating.  A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Ty Bryan Bowman, 18 years of age, of rural Elwood, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 as the result of a single motor vehicle accident near Bertrand, Nebraska.  Ty was born August 17, 2000 in Kearney, Nebraska, to John P. Barrow, II and Brandi D. Bowman.  He received his primary education from Holdrege Elementary School and later attended Wilcox-Hildreth Public Schools, Holdrege Public Schools and graduated from Southern Valley High School with the Class of 2018.  Ty was currently enrolled at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska in their welding classes.

He enjoyed hunting with his buddies; camping with family; and playing video games with his siblings.  Ty loved to make people laugh.  As a young boy, Ty enjoyed many hours in the truck with his grandparents.  He also enjoyed many great times mudding with his mom and step-dad, when he turned sixteen.

He had a special place in his heart for his girlfriend of four years, McKayla Christian.  They enjoyed many memories together, often exchanging gifts, "just because!"

He was preceded in death by his grandpa:  John P. Barrow, Sr.; great-aunt, Deanna Marvin; and great-grandpa, Leonard Henry.

Ty leaves to mourn his life; his mother and step-father, Brandi Grimm and her husband, Dustin of rural Elwood, Nebraska; father, John P. Barrow of Kearney, Nebraska; siblings: two brothers: Trestin and Draven; one sister, Samarha; one step-brother, Colt; and one step-sister, Jostin; grandparents:  Kirk and Robyn (Henry) Bowman of Holdrege; Kathy Barrow of Franklin, Nebraska; and Thomas and Colleen Grimm of Elwood; great-grandma:  Linda Simons of Hutchinson, Kansas; and Norma Foos of Holdrege; uncles and aunts:  Dustin (Lexi) Bowman of Holdrege; Walter (Kayla) Bowman of Wilcox, Nebraska; Mandy Bowman of Holdrege; Luke Barrow and his fiancée, Kayla of Holdrege; Lacey Barrow of Kansas; and Shelbi (Rocky) Robertson of Charleston, South Carolina;  along with many other relatives and many friends.

There will be no visitation.  The family has chosen cremation.

A memorial has been established in Ty's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
